The workshop All of our portable fences are manufactured using kiln dried, stress graded and Tanelith E treated timber, are also SPAX and screwed, and comply with current BE guidelines for moveable fences. The intermediate supporting struts, which make up the basic structure of our fences, are, positioned close together to prevent any give if banked by a horse. All of the timbers are planed, with micro bevelled edges and this gives a smooth, horse friendly, surface to each fence. All fences are finished in a Sovereign SX70 coloured, timber preservative. Our designs include traditional feeders, hayracks, churn stands, flower boxes, kennels, park seats, crofts, troughs, beehives, tables, tiger traps, saw benches and sheep pens, but also include technical fences such as corners, pimples, roll-tops, barrel boxes, log stacks, replica steam trains, and a number of specially commissioned designs. Delivery for portable fences can be as little as 2 weeks from order. Our portable fences are also available to hire and transport can be arranged along with installation and securing to the ground. |

Carvings These life size carvings are designed mainly to enhance fences or form the basis of interesting and entertainingly thumbed fences. We have created herdwick sheep to surround hurdles, giant mushrooms as narrow fences and scary pigs coming out of their sty's. Almost any kind of animal is capable of being carved out of large pieces of timber and this can be achieved either on site or made in workshop in Cumbria. To date we have produced, moles, llamas, chickens, sheep, sheep dogs, pigs, squirrels, bears, crocodiles, rabbits, owls, Harris hawks and, for the Gleneagles Hotel, golf balls, golf bags and clay targets |
