With over 15 years competitive experience at all levels of the sport, Douglas Weymouth began his course design career in the early 1990’s on the Brougham one day event course in Cumbria (The Lake District) and now designs and builds at 7 national and 2 international events up to FEI CCI3*** level. 

A British Eventing Listed Platinum course builder and Technical Adviser, Douglas travels the UK providing advice and services on behalf of DJ Weymouth Limited a wholly owned company registered in the UK. In 2010 he was one of the four short listed LOCOG tenderers for the London Olympics 2012 and narrowly missed out to 4 rival friends from London Eventing.

I have lived and worked in the North of England for the past 30 years and I’ve been married to Lucinda for 16 years and we have 4 young children – Morgan (12), Francesca (10), Brodie (8) and Alexa (6).

Along with my expert team, including Rob McSkimming and Nick Eyre, we aim to provide the highest standard of course design and building services to FEI designers, horse trial organisers, private clients and equestrian centres throughout the UK and Internationally
